They have several planes of WWII vintage in the hanger, along with the fuselage of an F-86.
Outside there were several large military planes, along with a DC-3 in navy colors. There were
also several powerplant displays, all nicely cut apart to show the works. Most of the planes
looked to be in excellent shape, and all but the F-86 were flyable. The big project the museum
is working on is the restoration of a P-61B, which will be one of 4 remaining P-61s.

Museum hours? not posted on the web site?
This museum is a few miles south of I-40, east of Knoville, TN. It on the way from I-40 down to
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The mileages aren't on the web site, but directions from I-40, exit 407 are
available as a pdf file off the web site. So far I haven't found details of the collection. The admission
seems a little steep, the Virginia Museum of Aviation at Richmond charges $5.
Note: the web site is very busy/noisy, too slow to load reasonably with a dial-up modem. It's also light on substance.
